I've joined the Miles for Miracles: Japan Trek 2019 so that Mater can continue to give the best possible start to life for all babies. By participating, I've committed to raising $6000 to support Mater's research into reducing the risk of adverse neurodevelopmental outcomes, such as cerebral palsy, in pre-term infants. Each day in Australia, more than 10 infants are born less than 32 weeks gestation. This represents more than 3000 families impacted by preterm birth each year. I have a personal link to preterm birth with my son and daughter being born very preterm at the Mater. Fortunately, my children have grown up to be healthy, unlike many other preterm individuals that will require life-long care. Please help me help Mater's researchers by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. Every dollar counts, and the more we can raise together, the greater the impact on all Mater little miracles. Thank you!
